For CEDIA Expo 2026, Origin Acoustics had a clear idea for its 50′ x 70′ exhibit: show its audio technology in the kinds of spaces where customers would actually use it. That meant building four fully developed residential settings on the show floor, each with its own architecture, finishes and product applications. ColorCraft was brought in to take the concept from design and engineering through fabrication and installation.

The Challenge

Origin’s concept called for four rooms: an elevated living room, outdoor living space, family room and dining room.

The challenge was turning those ideas into convincing spaces within a 3,500-square-foot exhibit. Each room needed enough architectural detail to establish a recognizable setting while accommodating product demonstrations, attendee traffic, hospitality and the practical requirements of a working trade show booth.

Just as importantly, the four spaces couldn’t feel like unrelated sets placed next to one another. The floor plan, sightlines and shared architectural details had to make the entire exhibit work as one space.

The Build

ColorCraft developed the exhibit around Origin’s four-room concept.

The Elevated Living Room featured custom built-in cabinetry, warm wood finishes and architectural detailing designed around Origin’s integrated audio products.

The Outdoor Living Space shifted to an open-air setting, incorporating landscaping, outdoor furnishings and exterior-inspired finishes to create an appropriate setting for Origin’s outdoor audio solutions.

The Family Room was built around a statement fireplace, with a warmer, more casual residential layout designed to feel like a natural gathering space.

The Dining Room took on a different character, with a custom desert window scene creating the illusion of a view beyond the exhibit walls and providing a dramatic backdrop for the space.

Across the 50′ x 70′ footprint, ColorCraft handled the details that brought those rooms together, including custom millwork, architectural finishes, integrated lighting, landscaping, hospitality areas and product displays.

ColorCraft managed the project from design and engineering through fabrication and installation, translating Origin’s room concepts into a finished exhibit ready for the CEDIA show floor.

The Result

Origin Acoustics’ exhibit earned two honors at CEDIA Expo 2026:

Best of Show Booth
Best Grand Booth

The awards recognized a project that combined Origin’s original concept with the design, engineering, craftsmanship and execution required to build four highly detailed residential spaces inside a trade show hall.

“Our CEDIA booth was an ambitious vision, and bringing it to life required a partner who understood that every detail mattered. The finished experience exceeded our expectations and created exactly the kind of impact we wanted for Origin Acoustics. Winning Best Grand Booth and Best of Show Booth makes us incredibly proud and is a testament to the creativity, craftsmanship, and hard work that went into building it.”
